Norwegian AB invest AS is the company behind the project, and it has applied for a planning reservation from the city for the project. The objective is to launch the project’s planning and development without delay.
The City Board’s Business and Competitiveness Division will process the application at its meeting on 14 October 2019.
Keilaniemi sees strong growth and versatility
According to Olli Isotalo
, Head of Espoo Technical and Environment Services, the plan by AB Invest AS meets the criteria set for developing Keilaniemi very well.
“Keilaniemi is being developed into an internationally and nationally significant business, research and innovation area that lives and develops in close relationship with the neighbouring Aalto University. The headquarters of several international listed companies operate in the area and, in the future, it will also be a residential area with great services and public transport connections.”
